There is something about first birthdays. To think that your baby has been in the world for a full 4 seasons, 12 months, 365 days... I get emotional about it. Even when it's not my little one! First birthdays are SO important and I love capturing them. I was so happy to meet Miss K and her loving big brother. I seriously could have put her in my back pocket and brought her home... such a happy girl!

To your awesome parents, congratulations on having this little "pork chop" in your lives for a year. She's simply gorgeous.

I'm a big fan of being able to capture families doing what they do best, living their every day life.  So when this mom and friend of mine asked me if I would venture down to their neck of the woods to do family portraits where they spend the majority of their time, I was super excited to hear we would be heading to a baseball field!

If the point of family portraits is to capture your family, just the way you are, then do it to the fullest extent!  If plaid button-ups and bow ties aren't your thing, then let's not force it.  I love to show your family the way YOU are.  That's just what we did with this family and not only was it a blast, they looked great in front of the camera.

It was so wonderful to meet this fun family!  3 boys in one shoot can be quite the challenge, but these guys were awesome.  I love how they each had their own personality and it shows in each picture.  Of course, the real star of the show was the little beauty they brought along!  She was so adorable and SO loved by her family.

This is by far the biggest share I've ever done here on my blog! I just absolutely loved every.single.image from this session. I have watched these girls go from babies toddling around my office to beautiful young women. I'm so glad that I was able to capture great sisterly moments from them. Enjoy!

This lovely woman contacted me a few weeks back to discuss a session while she was visiting family here in Londonderry.  I feel so lucky that friends and clients share my work with their friends and family.  We had a beautiful evening with gorgeous light... and luckily it was not TOO hot for a New Hampshire evening in the summer!  It was wonderful to talk to her and hear about her business and family.  Thanks so much, Judith!
